From the round-arched Porta Catania, you can admire the panorama which stretches all over Corso Umberto, from Piazza IX Aprile and the villa the view of Mount Etna, Sicily\u2019s most powerful symbol, is spectacular; near the historic gate so-called Porta Messina, one can enjoy a stunning view of Isola Bella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coastline below Taormina, north, and south, is immensely appealing \u2013 a mixture of grottoes, rocky coves, and amazing, sand beaches: Isola Bella with its crystal clear waters is a natural wonder and top destination for nature lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isola Bella is a natural beauty and charming place not only because of its position and unsurpassed scenery: its incredible history and the rich flora makes it a must-see destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting Taormina and not stopping at Isola Bella is like having won a ticket to Heaven but not using it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to Isola Bella?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are several options. If one arrives from Taormina, one can use the cable car, which is just a few minutes walk from the beach. If you arrive by car, you must pay for the parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The narrow, two-way traffic road is very busy, during the summer, it is really difficult to find a parking space near the stairs which will bring you down to the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A convenient way is to use the Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour, which stops at established points along the route and brings tourists to the Isola Bella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, we fully believe that a boat trip is by far the best way to visit the island and its stunning surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat tour from Giardini Naxos covers most of the coast around and will make you discover the most beautiful caves of the cliff overlooking Taormina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will have the opportunity to swim and enjoy the crystal clear waters around Isola Bella and have some fresh fruit and prosecco. Swim easily in aquamarine waters and grab a granita (ice flavored with fruit) from the beach sellers. The starting point is the port of Giardini Naxos; the tour lasts 2 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sicily is fabulous and a top holiday attraction: Sicilian food and the Sicilian sunshine are world-famous; from popular beaches where cafes serve fish straight off the boat to nature reserves and hidden caves, Isola Bella and Taormina are among the best places on Sicily\u2019s dramatic coast. While the tour to Mount Etna and the Alcantara Gorges gives you plenty to explore and great outdoor adventures, the boat tour to Isola Bella is an unforgettable experience where the only keyword is RELAX (and have fun!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
