Yes. Before the departure the guide provides a briefing and a short driving test for participants who have never driven a quad before.
No specific experience is required for most activities. Guides always provide instructions and assistance. For quad, bike, or e-bike tours, basic familiarity with the vehicle is required.
Many excursions are also suitable for children, but the minimum age may vary depending on the type of activity (for example quad tours or high-altitude trekking). It is advisable to always communicate the children’s age at the time of booking.
The price typically covers quad rental for two people per vehicle. Tour options are available for 1 hour, 2.5 hours, or 5 hours. An experienced tour guide is included, along with a protective helmet.
Comfortable, sporty clothing is recommended, preferably in layers. Temperatures on Etna can be lower than along the coast, especially at higher altitudes. Closed trekking or sports shoes, a windproof jacket, and warm clothing in winter are recommended.
If the weather conditions are particularly adverse (heavy storms, strong winds, or unsafe mountain conditions), tours may be cancelled or postponed. In such cases, a rescheduling option is usually offered. If the tour is cancelled, since payment is made on site, you will not lose anything.
